The Caparica Surf Calendar was born from a deep love for the beach town I call home.
I photographed and designed a 12-month calendar featuring local surfers from Costa da Caparica, each one captured in their element.
From concept to print, this was a self-initiated project: I planned, shot, edited, designed, and sold the entire calendar independently.
It was a celebration of the local surf scene and an experiment in community-centered art.
The first edition sold out - proof that when you create something for the place you live, people feel it.
